Note: This newsletter is marked 2016 Winter, but its chronology follows the 2015 Fall newsletter. So it might be construed as 2016 Spring, but calling it 2016 Winter is misleading. Since this is short, I'll type it in for the benefit of search engines.
ROSE LAKE FOREST PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
WINTER NEWSLETTER 2016
Greetings to everyone, hope you all had a great winter. Here in the forest we were fortunate to have a very mild winter. We, the board of directors, are looking forward to the 2016 year.
The flagpole is down due to strong wind this past winter. It will be put back up in May. Also in May we the board thought it would be of help to the members who are having problems getting rid of furniture and large items not fitting in the dumpsters. They will take tires, but NO HAZARDOUS WASTE MATERIALS. It will be a 30 yeard dumpster that will be dropped at the dumpster area May 20, 2016 till June 10, 2016 (three weeks). This is at no additional cost to members.
Election ballots are enclosed in the newsletter. There are four seats open on the Board of Directors for the next two years. Please seriously consider nominating someone for these seats.
There will be a special meeting at the Spring Meeting. This meeting will be held in a formal matter. We, the board, are asking to raise the budget from $1,500 to $2,500. And there was a questionnaire sent last fall to see who would be interested in another brining on the roads. This would NOT be an additional cost. We will be voting on this matter at the May meeting.
The Board of Directors of Rose Lake Forest wishes to extend their sympathies to everyone who has lost a loved one in the past year.
Next meeting May 28, 2016. Time: 10:00 a.m. Place: Gamma Park. Hope to see you there.
Deb Hubble, Secretary
